Pradeep B. Nair

Pradeep Nair, regional director for Ford Foundation India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, is responsible for their work in the region. With more than 65 years of history in the region, Ford Foundation continues to play an important role in social sector growth. Pradeep has more than 20 years of private sector and non-profit experience, working primarily in US and India, and briefly in Europe. He has previously worked with President Clinton’s Climate Initiative, focusing on India, and Michael Bloomberg and his team, in expanding the C40 network, a network of global mayors, to India and the region. With engineering and management degrees, he started his career in the strategy and technology space, working in Silicon Valley, initially with Deloitte Consulting and later with technology and data start-ups.
