Workers in Visibility | Voices from the ground
During the pandemic, India witnessed the extreme vulnerability and painful exodus of its informal and migrant workforce from the largest cities as they were left without shelter, money, jobs, transport or food. This forced us to acknowledge the long-existing fault lines that led to a human crisis of such a scale, leading to an uncommon convergence of stakeholder groups that had hitherto been unlikely partners. Building on that momentum driven by compassion, this series and microsite are envisaged as a repository on all key players and initiatives working in this space. |
